Welcome the the 2010 Joyride with Jon event page

 

 

 

An annual event to help raise money and awareness for people living with blunt head trauma injuries. This event will help Jon and others with physical and visual disabilities benefit greatly through the computer training provided to them through Donka, Inc. Money raised will help to continue adaptive computer training for those in need.

What to expect

We are planning a ride with as many bikes and classic cars as we can arrange. If police escort is required we have the contacts to arrange it. After the ride join us for food fun, raffles, an auction, games for the kids, and great music. Join our facebook page too!

The Ride

  • Lead by an event organizer: Ride along with Jon or stand by the end and welcome the riders into the party, either way it's going to be a blast.
  • Mike Sailer: will organize the route and have Jon in his sidecar.

The Party

  • Hawthorne's Backyard: At the end of the ride join us for a party at Hawthorne's Backyard in West Chicago 1200 W Hawthorne Lane West Chicago, IL 60185
  • Live Music: Expect The Joy Ryders to play among other musical guests
  • Games for the kids: Bounce House, Dunk Tank, Face Painting, good fun for all ages
  • Great Food: Hawthorne's Backyard is well known for excellent food and great service.

Charity Auction

  • Auction: Local businesses and individuals donate great auction items for this event.

Raffle

  • Raffle tickets:will be available for a chance to walk away a winner!
